This opening post will eventually be removed, once I have had the time to get some things up on the blog.
For now, I just wanted to make sure any readers who happen to hit this blog know what I'm doing. I am putting together some fictional, "first-hand," journal entry-type posts that will help me try to understand just who the Zodiac was. This may sound far-fetched and more like a fool's errand than actual investigative work, but after four decades of no one being able to find this guy or establish who he ever was, I think a fresh, creative, even fictional approach is needed.
I claim to know almost nothing about the Zodiac murdes.... insofar as I have not spent much time studying the cases. I have been reading and researching for only a week or so. I'm a teacher, by profession, and on the side a writer. This approach is my attempt at a contribution to the eforts of many dedicated, hard-working citizens who have tried to use the Internet to do something positive -- namely, help the California law enforcement officers find and apprehend the man who slaughtered a number of innocent people.
